Cơ cấu đội tàu là một thuật ngữ được đề cập khá nhiều khi nghiên cứu đội tàu vận tải biển của mỗi doanh nghiệp, quốc gia, vùng lãnh thổ hay trên toàn thế giới. Bài báo này phân tích và đánh giá thực trạng cơ cấu đội tàu của một đội tàu cụ thể là đội tàu Tổng công ty Hàng hải Việt Nam (Vinalines) giai đoạn 2006 - 2016 theo ba tiêu thức cơ bản là loại tàu, tuổi tàu và cỡ tàu. Đây là cơ sở để đề xuất những giải pháp, chiến lược nhằm hợp lý hóa cơ cấu đội tàu, nâng cao hiệu quả kinh doanh khai thác, phát triển bền vững đội tàu, phù hợp với xu thế phát triển chung của ngành hàng hải thế giới.
The structure of the fleet is common term in studies of maritime transportation enterprises’ fleets, nations’ fleet and international fleets. This article analyses and evaluates structures of Vinalines fleet during the period of 2006 to 2016 in term of the types of vessel, age and size. This in turn provides the important recommendations to policy makers in order to optimalize the structure of the fleet, increase the operation efficiency and achieve sustainable development which are the general maritime development trends
